A real life fairytale

Since I've always been obsessed with monarchy and the royal family, I watched the stream link of the youngest swedish princess Madeleine. I saw this illustration of Princess Madeleine’s wedding dress before I saw the actual dress and I fell in love. It looks so ravishing and I think it's elaborated to the lastest detail. I would kill to have this gown as my own some day, well girls can dream, right?!
She married her fiancé Mr. Christopher O’Neill in Stockholm and the wedding ceremony attented about 400 people. They got engaged on 25th October and the royal family had planned this wedding ever since. Since 2010 Madeleine moved to New York where as the sources say, lives under low profil.

Protože jsem byla vždycky posedlá všemi státy, kde je stále monarchie s královskou rodinou, nemohla jsem si včera nechat ujít svatbu nejmladší švédský princezny Madeleine. Viděla jsem tuto ilustraci jejích šatů, ještě předtím než její hotový šaty, a hned jsem se do nich zamilovala. A nejen kvůli tomu, že její šaty navrhoval Valentino, který je navrhl i pro Anne Hathaway a je můj neoblibenější návrhář. Musím říct, že vypadají nádherně, a jsou vážně propracovány do posledních detailů. Myslím, že můžu za sebe říct, že bych neváhala ani sekundu, kdybych mohla mít tyto šaty někdy na vlastní svatbu, ale můžem jen snít, že jo?! Její snoubenec je americký bankéř Christopher O’Neill, jejich svatebního obřadu se zůčastnilo přes 400 hostů. Královská rodina začala svatbu plánovat hned po zasnoubení, které proběhlo loni v říjnu.

Here I chose a few of my favourite pics from the ceremony. Honestly I think that normal people I mean non-royal attendees must have felt like in a real life fairytale, I would definitely. 

Tady jsem vybrala pár mých nejoblibenějších fotek ze včerejšího svatebního dne. Myslím, že pozvání hosté z nekrálovské rodiny se museli cítit jako v pohádce, protože já bych se tak cítila určitě.

Avant qu'elle parte

Have you ever thought about different centuries, how would it be to live in the twentieth century and how would we were dressing up? I think when you look back to the 40's or 50's, you can feel the beauty, vanity and pleasure in photographs of the casually but yet fashionably dressed women. I picture the women dressing up and I'm thinking that they didn't care if they are preparing for some society ball, a date in the caffee shop, or just hanging around the city streets, they were always classy and sophisticated with style in my mind. Basically I think they knew how to dress to make themselves look sexy and at the same time refined and elegant, unlike some of the women nowadays who are taking it wrong and just want to show their one side. 

I really love looking at these photos, they are from photographer Gordon Parks, I think he captured everything perfectly, especially you can see the independent, romantic, yet very realistic women. I really did enjoyed this photoshoot.
